Golden Nugget Online Gaming, Inc. (GNOG) announced a new partnership with Greenbrier Hotel Corporation in West Virginia. The definitive agreement will give GNOG access to the state’s legalized gaming market.

Online casino deal

With the new partnership in place, GNOG can now offer online casino and mobile sports wagering to people of West Virginia under Greenbrier’s licenses. The deal is yet to secure regulatory approval and will see Golden Nugget paying The Greenbrier a percentage of its online net gaming revenue. This will be subject to minimum royalty payments.

Tilman J. Fertitta, the owner, and CEO of GNOG commented on the deal and said, “The partnership with The Greenbrier is an important milestone for the Golden Nugget online gaming expansion plans. We look forward to providing West Virginian players with our best-in-class product.”

Fertitta wholly owns a company that operates Golden Nugget. The leading casino brand was the first platform to bring Live Casino Floor and Live Dealer to the US customers.

An exciting new partnership

GNOG president and longtime Golden Nugget executive Thomas Winter said that the firm is excited to partner with the Greenbrier and bring their award-winning online gaming offerings to West Virginia. He said that Golden Nugget will have access to four privately operated casino markets in the country now, including West Virginia, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Greenbrier president Dr. Jill Justice said that the firm is adding new options to its incredible lineup of casino offerings. Dr. Justice also acknowledged the role of Golden Nugget as a market leader in the online casino industry. It has received 15 eGaming Review North America Awards and won the Operator of the Year Award for four years in a row from 2017 to 2020.

The Greenbrier is a historical resort of the mountain state that comes with 710 guest rooms on an 11,000-acre property. It opened the Casino Club in 2010.
