Rush Street Interactive has formally ventured into West Virginia’s online gambling market after securing a deal with Century Casinos.

RSI’s latest business move allows its BetRivers brand to become available in Mountain West through Century Casino-operated Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort. The company also becomes Century’s second interactive gaming operator partner in the state. The land-based casino is owned by Vici Properties.

Lucrative Contract

According to the contract, RSI will have an initial term of 10 years as Century’s interactive partner with an option to extend up to 10 years. The deal also includes minimum revenue guarantees and a percentage share of net gaming revenue payable to Century Casinos monthly. Also, a signing bonus paid on contract signing sweetened the deal for Century.

RSI is only waiting for the approval and licensing by the West Virginia Lottery. It is set to begin operation tentatively in the second quarter of 2021.
