Softweave introduces revolutionary Winafar tool to Canada’s iGaming scene

Softweave announced on Monday its entry into the Canadian gaming scene as the igaming software developer debuts its newest innovation – Winafar.

Softweave Winafar tools allows players to play real slots machines from home

The Winafar

Winafar is a tool designed to allow casino players to play at physical slot machines located on real casino floors without going into one.

Softweave’s revolutionary technology gives customers the chance of ‘winning from afar’ using their desktop computers and mobile devices.

The launch of Winafar in Canada was made possible after Softweave secured a strategic partnership with RBY Gaming, a Canadian distributor.

Operators can install the Winafar software on their land-based slots. To simulate an actual casino environment, the toll uses cameras as well as the microphone to take capture sounds and reels.

The software comes with a Winfar box that operators can plug into the cabinet to control the slot machine with their computer, tablet, or smartphone. The Winafar-abled slot titles are accessible through the website or the lobby of a current casino webpage.

Softweave introduced the software in NJ in 2020 and it has already received positive feedback from local players, particularly those looking to play the game for the first time. The software has also gained recognition from Industry Observers, being named innovation of the year at B2B EGR awards and at the EGR America Awards 2020.

Executive Insights

Roy Greenbaum, CEO of Softweave, added more hype around their new product, asserting that it has the potential to take the Canadian gaming industry by storm.

“We are delighted for the opportunity to launch Winafar in Canada and to allow local operators to offer their players a truly authentic casino experience but with the convenience of online and mobile play.

“Live casino is becoming increasingly popular in markets around the world, and while traditional live dealer cover table games, Winafar allows operators to offer a live slots experience that captures the magic of playing on a casino floor.

“We believe Winafar will enjoy incredible pick-up among casino operators across Canada, and will be a huge hit with players seeking the most engaging and compelling real casino experience online.”
