The Millennium Estoril Open, Portugal’s most important and prestigious tennis event, has named global sportsbook operator Betway as its newest Senior Sponsor.

Betway announced its partnership with the tournament in a press release issued last Thursday.

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Betway assumed the title as the ATP tournament’s newest Senior Sponsor and The Millennium Estoril Open’s exclusive betting partner for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions of the tournament.

The Millennium Estoril Open has been part of the ATP Tour circuit since the tourney got a rebrand in 2015. Previously known as the Portugal Open, the tennis competition in Estoril has drawn several big names in tennis throughout the years, including Grand Slam champion Juan Martin del Potro and rising star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

This year’s tournament will take place on the clay courts of Clube de Ténis do Estoril, from the April 24 to May 2. After the cancellation of last year’s tournament due to COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Estoril Open could very well see a respectable field of competitors.

Portugal’s premier tennis event provides a great opportunity for the country to host the top tennis players in the world as they vie for the top prize and ATP world ranking points. For Betway, being the tournament sponsor only shows its commitment to the Portuguese market.
