AGS unveils Vegas Golden Knights-themed slot at South Point Casino

AGS has further strengthened its tie with the Vegas Golden Knights after announcing the licensing deal with the National Hockey League team on Tuesday.

AGS-Vegas Golden Knights License Deal

The license will kick off the production of more NHL-themed real money slots and table game product offerings. AGS intends to market this particular product line across the United States and Canada.

The Vegas Golden Knights-dedicated slot machine already made its debut at South Point Casino on the Las Vegas Boulevard this week. The said slot machine embodies the colors, symbols, and tradition of the NHL franchise.

The Vegas Golden Knights slot game looks quite different from a regular slot machine as it takes the space of three standard slot games at eight feet wide and eight feet tall.

The game offers multiplier wilds that increase win potential to as much as 10x the bet. Scatter symbols in this game can also deliver fortune whenever players catch one or two Vegas Stars, one or two Golden Knights, or one multiplier on the reels.

AGS already had existing ties with the Vegas Golden Knights before the acquisition of the license. The slot maker has served as the team’s corporate partner, sponsoring the Play of the Knight – a segment that shows highlights and replays of the critical moments from each home game.

The partnership with the Vegas Golden Knight has also proved instrumental for AGS in deepening its relationship with the local community in Las Vegas.

The groups organized outreach initiatives such as bringing Golden Knights team ambassadors to its adopted Griffith Elementary School while providing multiple brand engagement opportunities for its local employees.

Key People on the Deal

Julia Boguslawski, AGS chief marketing officer, explained the license’s significance to its effort to capture the team’s loyal fanbase.

“As a corporate partner of the Golden Knights and being headquartered in Las Vegas, it was the perfect opportunity for AGS to deliver an engaging and highly social gaming experience on an attention-grabbing slot cabinet to capitalize on the team’s enormous popularity and success.”

Cliff Paige, South Point slot director, believes the latest venture with AGS will perform well because of its fascinating features.

“We are elated to be the first casino to unveil the Vegas Golden Knights slot game, and look forward to offering our loyal players, many of whom are Las Vegas locals and huge Golden Knights fans, with a hockey-themed slot experience based on an enormously popular team,”

“We expect the Vegas Golden Knights game to do very well; not only does the game offer a community-style play experience as people gather to watch those giant reels spin, but it also provides a great social media photo opp.”
