Scientific Games Corporation continues to diversify the content available on its OpenGaming platform as the US gaming giant forged a partnership with Hacksaw Gaming.

Scientific Games-Hacksaw Gaming Deal

The Deal – The Las Vegas-headquartered gaming content and service provider confirmed last week its tie-up with Hacksaw Gaming, a game development studio based in Malta.

The deal centers around the global distribution of Hacksaw Gaming’s mobile-first slot and instant win games through SG’s OpenGaming platform.   

The Products – Scientific Games plans to have partner operators in the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions gain access to the studio’s suite of slots and other real-money games first before launching these products in North American – Canada and the U.S – later this year. 

The groups also agreed to collaborate on the development of new slots and instant win titles. The target is to take this fresh content live exclusively with operators leveraging the OGS platform.

Corporate Roadmap – Scientific Games explained the content distribution deal with Hacksaw Gaming wiould substantially help them diversify its current product offering. Moreover, the group also lauded its new partner studio for coming through with ground-breaking content that supports mobile gaming and low-bandwidth functionality.     

Hacksaw Gaming, meanwhile, considers its recent link-up with one of the industry’s largest content distributors a huge milestone that will propel the brand to new frontiers. The Malta-based has released over 60 slot games, including notable titles like Chaos Crew and Cubes 2. The studio is currently supplying more than 120 operators worldwide, with plans of marching into new jurisdictions through a combination of market access deals and strategic collaborations with industry leaders.
