BetMGM teams up with Gila River and Arizona Cardinals ahead of sports betting regulation

BetMGM is making key partnerships ahead of the legalization of sports betting in the state of Arizona. The leading sportsbook and gaming entertainment firm confirmed on Tuesday its business tie-up with Gila River Hotels & Casinos and the Arizona Cardinals.

Arizona Sports Betting: BetMGM stays ahead of the curve

The Deal – BetMGM’s alignment with the award-winning Gila River Hotels & Casino and the Cardinals of the NFL marks the brand’s first business relationship in the Grand Canyon State. The deals put the company in better position before Arizona officially launches its regulated sports betting market.

The Products – Gila River Hotels & Casinos will be installing BetMGM Sportsbooks in all of its three Arizona locations: River Indian Community: Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte, and Vee Quiva. The Cardinals also agreed to reserve a space for BetMGM’s Sportsbook operation at State Farm Stadium. The Gila River Indian Community-owned gaming properties and the one at the Cardinals home arena will begin accepting wager before the start of the 2022 NFL season.

The Corporate Roadmap – BetMGM aims to stay ahead of its potential competitors by forging partnerships with well-established brands within Arizona’s gaming and sporting space. The sports betting giant attempts to ride on the momentum following the successful roll-out of its new set of table games at Wild Horse Pass. BetMGM stressed its recent ventures falls in line with its landmark new Compact arrangement.
