DraftKings and BetMGM have launched their digital betting platforms in the state of Wyoming. This means that DraftKings has launched its digital betting platform in the thirteenth state and BetMGM has launched its digital betting platform in the fourteenth state.  This will allow consumers in the state of Wyoming to wager in various markets, across a variety of collegiate and professional sports through the mobile sportsbooks app of DraftKings.

Growth in betting

DraftKings’ co-founder and President, Matt Kalish said that in the past three years, legalized betting has grown substantially and DraftKings has been at the center of the growth action. Matt Kalish also expressed satisfaction that sports betters in the state of Wyoming will now have the opportunity the experience and predictions that DraftKings offers millions of sports fans in the markets in which it operates. In order to celebrate the launch, DraftKings will offer betters in Wyoming two opportunities to double their money.

Third state for DraftKings in 2021

DraftKings has had a successful year in 2021. With the launch of its online sportsbook in Virginia and Michigan in January 2021, Wyoming is the third state in which DraftKings has been allowed to operate, allowing DraftKings access to a substantial size of the sports betting market in the United States.

After Virginia, Wyoming is the second state to allow direct mobile licensing. This has allowed mobile operators such as DraftKings who are major players in generating revenue through sports betting to be licensed in the state of Wyoming without any obligation of a land-based casino or a brick-and-mortar establishment.

Draft Kings wants to keep its environmental commitments and is therefore hosting an earth-themed free-to-play pool to consumers in the state of Wyoming in collaboration with Arbor Day Foundation.

BetMGM enters Wyoming
