Holland Casino upgraded its customer onboarding and verification capabilities after teaming up with payment tech firm Nuvei. The state-owned casino group confirmed the deal on Wednesday, October 6. 

Holland Casino taps Nuvei services

Under the terms of the deal, Nuvei will provide Holland Casino Group the solutions to acquire and verify players and transact payments for its digital offerings.

Holland Casino offers an extensive gaming portfolio comprised of sports betting, online casino, live casino, and poker. 

The operator also plans to release its suite of Bingo titles soon, solidifying its position as one of the biggest players in the newly-launched Dutch iGaming market.

Holland Casino said teaming up with Nuvei was “a clear choice” for the group since the payment solution provider has already built a proven track record in that side of the business. 

With Nuvei’s support, the operator assures its customers a fast, safe, and smooth enrollment process by utilizing the tech firm’s custom solutions for player verification and authentication algorithms and mechanisms. The solution is programmed to reduce friction with player regulations by eliminating additional requirements during the onboarding phase.

Nuvie also deployed another cutting-edge solution ‘Cashier’ to provide additional payment support to Holland Casino. This tool allows players to move their funds in and out of the virtual wallet without compromising the country’s anti-money laundering laws and the EU’s revised strong customer authentication requirements as part of the Payment Services Directive.  

After a technical error and instability in the regulator’s CRUKS self-exclusion registration delayed its launch, Holland Casino is finally online and ready to accept bets across its digital offerings.

The state-owned casino operator has its footprints spread out across 14 land-based establishments in the Netherlands with outlets in Enschede, Venlo, Breda, Amsterdam West, Utrecht, Leeuwarden, Amsterdam Center, Rotterdam, Scheveningen, Zandvoort, Groningen, Nijmegen, Valkenburg, and Eindhoven.
