Okada Manila celebrates rebrand to UE Resorts International Inc.

The Corporate Name of Okada Manila International, Inc. Has Been Changed to UE Resorts International, Inc.

Okada Manila International unveils new name

On Thursday, the anticipated holding company for Okada Manila, one of Asia’s finest destination casino resorts and the Philippines’ largest integrated resort, stated that a corporate name change to “UE Resorts International, Inc.” has been granted.

The new name of the real-money casino reflects the corporation’s expansion intentions in Asia and other countries worldwide, including the United States. The name change reflects the corporation’s commitment to and focus on expansion potential and offering a first-class experience for its guests.

Okada Manila covers an area of more than 50 acres and features around 35,000 square meters of gaming space with a capacity of 599 gaming tables and 4,263 electronic gaming machines. When the resort’s current construction is completed in 2022, it will be licensed to run 974 gaming tables and 6,890 electronic gambling machines. Moreover, the resort features two hotel towers with 993 luxury rooms, a retail boulevard with 50 retail outlets, the Cove Manila nightclub and indoor beach club, over 25 dining options, and one of the world’s most extensive colorful dancing and musical fountains.

UE Resorts International, Inc. is dedicated to providing outstanding value in the gaming, gaming technology, accommodation, and entertainment industries. As part of the name change, UE Resorts International, Inc. will continue to use its great waterfront real estate in Entertainment City, Manila, to attract consumers and potential guests from across the world to the Philippines’ luxury Okada Manila integrated resort.

UE Resorts International, Inc. is the parent company of Okada Manila, the city’s flagship casino and integrated resort. Okada Manila is the Philippines’ largest integrated resort and one of the largest in the world. Located in one of Asia’s fastest-growing gambling markets, Okada Manila spans more than 50 acres and will eventually be licensed to operate 974 gaming tables and 6,890 electronic gaming machines, in addition to 993 luxury hotel rooms.

Universal Entertainment Corporation (TSE: 6425) is a significant player in the Asian integrated resorts market through its Okada Manila hotel and casino ownership. Universal Entertainment Corporation is also a market leader in Japan’s gaming machine industry, designing, manufacturing, and distributing Pachinko and Pachislot machines.

Okada Manila International, Inc. announced in October that it has entered into a merger agreement with 26 Capital Acquisition Corporation (NASDAQ: ADER), a publicly-traded particular purpose acquisition business based in Miami and founded by renowned gaming specialist Jason Ader.

The transaction, which is expected to close in the first half of 2022, could give the firm up to $275 million in cash. The name change reflects the corporate entity’s exciting new chapter as it flourishes in the Philippines and expands into new markets.
