The program’s objective is to provide health professionals, such as general practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, social prescribers, and mental health workers, with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, support, and refer vulnerable individuals experiencing or at risk of harm from online gaming and gambling. The RSPH has fully accredited the training, attesting its high standards, following a thorough assessment procedure.

Caroline Gallagher, YGAM’s director of compliance and quality assurance, commented, “The RSPH accreditation is significant because it confirms that our training material and delivery meet an exceptionally high standard, instilling confidence and credibility in our audience.”
