PointsBet has partnered with Women in Sports Tech, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for women in sports, technology, and innovation.

As a corporate partner of WiST, PointsBet will contribute to the organization’s efforts to improve the lives of women at all professional phases.

This will include fireside talks and panel discussions with industry veterans and senior executives, summer internship opportunities through the WiST Fellowship program, and job fairs for middle and high school students in the sports technology environment.

WiST has partnered with over 23 major corporations, including the Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech Accelerator, IBM Sports, Nike, the NBA/WNBA, and AEG Worldwide, under the leadership of CEO and co-founder Marilou McFarlane. The group is actively involved in developing live and virtual programs, events, and internships that assist and empower women at all professional phases.

The last there, PointsBet followed up its igaming openings in Michigan and New Jersey by launching an online casino in Virginia and announcing a partnership with Scientific Games.
