Spearhead Studios has its sights set on the next phase of its European expansion, as the company unveils its intentions in the Italian game market. 

Spearhead Studios set to take off in Italy

Spearhead confirmed its Italian market accreditation and indicated that its igaming portfolio will shortly go live, along with a platform that complies with market criteria.

Mathias Larsson, managing director of Spearhead Studios, remarked that Italy is an extremely intriguing market that a few operators dominate.

Spearhead Studios is already live with most of them in other regions, and it was about time they entered the Italian market as well. Once live, players in Italy will be able to explore slot titles such as Sweet Gems, Blue Diamond Book, and Wild Gold.

This will be the first time Spearhead Studio’s titles, together with their bonus features and promotions, will be available in Italy’s dedicated casino market. Additionally, the corporation stated that the activities mentioned above will “further strengthen” its regional reach. Spearhead’s Italian job comes on the heels of its local certification permission in the Netherlands, where the company declared last month that it was “prepared to capitalise” on the Dutch gaming market. 

The booming digital gaming market 

The EveryMatrix brand noted in obtaining certification for its proprietary casino content and RGS platform that the Netherlands is on track to become “a lucrative online gambling market in the regulated European space,” with the Dutch Gambling Authority estimating that the market will reach €1.1 billion by 2024.
