Earlier this week, DraftKings and CQ Holding Company announced the opening of their second retail sportsbook in as many days, with the presentation of a 6,000 square-foot facility in Casino Queen St Louis, followed by the opening of a new sportsbook in Louisiana. Construction has recently begun on a permanent land-based casino that will be located adjacent to the current riverboat complex. 

DraftKings and CQ Holding Company will operate a permanent retail sportsbook on March 29 as part of their partnership. DraftKings at Casino Queen will feature a 60-foot video wall, dozens of high-definition screens, a VIP section, and more than 30 betting kiosks, all of which will be used for sports betting and viewing.

Casino Queen Sportsbook will offer users the chance to place wagers on a number of betting markets across professional and college sports through the use of 38 kiosks and five betting windows in the DraftKings section of the sportsbook. The project was developed in collaboration with JCJ Architecture, which was responsible for its design and construction. In addition, there will be new food and drinking options within the DraftKings at Casino Queen Sportsbook facility. The menu will include dishes inspired by game day as well as traditional American fare.
