NASDAQ: CZR) (“Caesars”) and the New York Mets (NYSE: M) earlier this month announced a multi-year partnership to make Caesars Sportsbook the official sports betting partner of the team. 

The partnership will be effective immediately. Additionally, this partnership includes plans to open a new sportsbook lounge at Citi Field, Caesars Sportsbook at the Metro Grille, which will provide various VIP experiences and hospitality assets to members of the industry’s leading loyalty program, Caesars Rewards.

The new upscale 13,000 square foot space for fans to enjoy the Caesars Sportsbook app together will come to life on the Excelsior Level at Citi Field with a multi-tiered dining room and outdoor patio seating complete with panoramic views overlooking the left field and is scheduled to open during the 2022 Major League Baseball season. As the only sports betting application in New York, Caesars Sportsbook offers bettors the opportunity to earn points for every wager they place, which can be redeemed for experiences across the Caesars portfolio of resorts and partnerships. Partnership Agreements 

As part of this agreement, Caesars Sportsbook will have access to official New York Mets logos and marks and TV-visible in-game signage and broadcast and digital content across all of the Mets’ properties. This partnership builds on Caesars Sportsbook’s already-established presence in the city. In addition to operating the largest number of retail sportsbooks across the country, Caesars Sportsbook is an authorized gaming operator for Major League Baseball and is currently live in 23 states and jurisdictions—17 of which are mobile—and operates sportsbooks at top New York gaming destinations Turning Stone, Yellow Brick Road, and Point Place Casino through the Oneida Indian Nation, as well as at Caesars, Harrah’s Resort, and Tropicana in Atlantic City.

Corporate Notes 

They consider New York to be a critical market for us following the successful launch of our Caesars Sportsbook app there in January, as stated by Chris Holdren, Co-President of Caesars Digital in a recent news release. He went on to say that the Mets’ fanbase is one of the most devoted in baseball and that this arrangement gives them the opportunity to treat those die-hard supporters like Caesars.
