A patent licensing arrangement between online casino content supplier EveryMatrix and International Game Technology, the maker of world-renowned IGT slot games, has allowed the former to expand its US and Canada footprint.
License approval marks milestone for EveryMatrix
EveryMatrix will be permitted to deploy its portfolio of slot machines across the United States, using IGT’s patent-protected gaming features and other aspects from the company’s licensing program.
In a press release, Erik Nyman, President of EveryMatrix Americas, said that securing a patent licensing agreement with IGT was a key step forward in the company’s expansion in the United States.
Following the completion of this transaction, EveryMatrix will have access to the intellectual property of IGT, allowing them to distribute its gaming content to partners across North America.

Press Release Statements
The company are pleased to welcome EveryMatrix as a member of the game features licensing program, which has fostered unprecedented innovation for game mechanics across the industry,” said Stephen Calogero, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Global Gaming and Intellectual Property at IGT.
He also stated that they are thrilled to welcome EveryMatrix to the gaming features licensing program. Early this year, EveryMatrix announced that it had made an investment in the igaming business Jelly Entertainment, which culminated in the agreement with IGT.
Jelly has joined the provider’s gaming aggregation platform, SlotMatrix, to develop, manage, and distribute their products to a worldwide network of operators. This is the company’s second investment in the gaming aggregation area, after Lady Luck Games’ acquisition of SlotMatrix. Building, managing, and distributing their titles to a worldwide network of operators will be accomplished via the platform Jelly will employ.
