New Las Vegas Resort & Casino Soon to Rise

The resort, which will be known as the OVG Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, will have a total of 2,000 guest rooms and will be located close to a sports and entertainment stadium with a capacity of 20,000 people. The organization claims that the upcoming facility will be suitable for use by the NBA, and it anticipates receiving one billion dollars in funding for the building’s construction. Tim Leiweke and Irving Azoff, partners of Oak View Group, have appointed Marc Badain, a former president of the National Football League team the Las Vegas Raiders, to an executive position in the company’s growth plans. After moving the Raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas, Badain oversaw the building of the Allegiant Stadium, thus he will bring a great amount of expertise to his new post.

Regarding the integrated resort, the aforementioned former co-CEO of Foley Entertainment Group, Randy Morton, has been given the responsibility of driving its development. Morton has worked in the hospitality industry for the last four decades, and most recently held the positions of President and Chief Customer Officer at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. At the convergence of Las Vegas Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road, the construction of the project that is expected to have a total cost of $3 billion will take place over 25 acres.

Corporate Notes

The master planning of the design and construction of a premium boutique casino resort is a very fascinating endeavor. Exciting developments include the incorporation of the arena as well as the link to the site. Morton was quoted in the Las Vegas Review-Journal as saying, “And I adore the location. It is simple to enter and exit, with various entry points off of Interstate 15 and, of course, the Interstate 215, both of which are highly exciting and very tempting to any and all clients.

Badain went on to say that they are planning to construct the largest arena in the known universe, and that Las Vegas needs it and that Las Vegas deserves it. By the time they open the venue, it will have been about 10 years since they opened T-Mobile Arena, and it’s time to have a new venue in Las Vegas that is worthy of Las Vegas. If they look at the trajectory of music venues and sports venues in Las Vegas of this size, it’s about every 10 years for a new one. By the time they open the venue, it will be about 10 years since they opened T-Mobile Arena.
