The Battle of Malta online poker tournament series began on July 10 with a prize pool of $25.5 million. 

This is one of the largest poker tournaments hosted by GGPoker this month. It will go through July 31, giving players the chance to win large and granting them access to the most competitive and valuable tournaments.

Online Poker Tournament with Substantial Prize Funds

The Kings Landing Opener, with a buy-in of €110 and a guaranteed prize pool of €250,000, has already concluded as one of the event’s 18 featured tournaments. 

The main event features a staggering €2.5 million ($2.53 million) in prize money for online poker players who desire to compete and demonstrate their online prowess. The Battle of Malta is a continuation of GGPoker’s attempts to maintain a thriving poker business and community in the Old World, despite the fact that there are several live poker tournaments across Europe. 

John Scanlon, head of sponsorships and live events at GGPoker, observes that Europe has a clear interest in poker. The incident is not, however, isolated or entirely independent. It is tied to the Battle of Malta Live Events in October 2022. In order to qualify for the next pow-wow, participants will have the chance to win 25-seat and hotel packages for a total of €1,555 apiece.
