India’s Audiences Will Benefit Racing

Under the terms of the partnership between XB Net and Betindiaraces, a platform powered by Sportswin Software, the premier horse racing content provider will provide live visuals and local pool-wagering services from a network of racetracks in North America and Australia.

Commenting on the agreement, Simon Fraser, senior vice president of International for XB Net, expressed his excitement that XB Net’s content has expanded its geographic influence in India, where “underserved audiences” will soon become a “boon for racing” due to the anticipated expansion of regulation.

Licensed by the esteemed Royal Calcutta Turf Club, the contract will add to the operator’s programming schedule a regular stream of wagering possibilities that have shown their effectiveness in raising new clients’ digital dwell-time.

Positive Beginning to the Partnership

Due to its time zone “naturally preceding India’s domestic activity” and sports programming, Narayana was certain that Australian racing would “fit smoothly” into the operator’s portfolio.

He was also eager to observe the performance of the newly acquired US racing rights during the summer, which will be packed with racing highlights. However, based on the significant spikes around the Triple Crown events of the Preakness and Belmont Stake, he believes that the partnership will be exciting and profitable.

Betindiaraces will be able to use XB Net’s agreement with a number of Australian racecourses under the Melbourne Racing Club to access material from over 700 Australian meetings, including those at Caulfield, Moonee Valley, and Flemington.

Betindiaraces will also benefit from XB Net’s new US racing rights, which provide access to highlights from a broader pool of worldwide events, including the Pegasus World Cup, the Preakness and Belmont Stakes, and the Breeders’ Cup World Championship at Keeneland.

The partnership with Betindiaraces bolsters XB Net’s footprint in India after a prior digital distribution rights agreement with NorthAlley. Similar to the arrangement that XB Net has inked with Betindiaraces, the racing provider and the established platform partnered in March.
