HRI gets greenlight to purchase the Mirage

The company made a significant advance earlier in the month when it was informed that the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), the state agency in charge of regulating gambling in Nevada, has suggested that the acquisition be finalized. The Board of Directors gave their approval to the acquisition on Friday of the previous week, paving the way for Hard Rock to purchase the property.

The Company is Excited in Acquiring License for Mirage

The excitement that James Allen, the chairman of the company, is feeling was expressed in a press release. He expressed gratitude to the Nevada Gaming Control Board in addition to the Nevada Gaming Commission for their approvals, which were necessary for the company to be able to acquire a license for The Mirage. Allen shared that everyone at Hard Rock is excited for the next step in the acquisition process, which is to close the deal on the property. Last but not least, he stated that the company is excited to welcome approximately 3,500 new members to its rapidly expanding team at Hard Rock.

The Mirage will continue to be open as HRI makes plans for reconstruction

The most recent declaration was made after HRI, earlier this month, refuted claims that said the resort will be shut down upon the company’s purchase of The Mirage. The organization had previously stated that it intended to revamp and modernize the location at that time. On the other hand, it stated that there are “no present intentions to halt operation of The Mirage,” and that any reports to the contrary are false.

Increasing More Facilities and Providing More Services

Due to the fact that building is going to take place on the soon-to-be-acquired site, Hard Rock stated that the location may have to be temporarily closed around the middle of 2024. Despite this, the operator stated that further information should be anticipated at some time in the year 2023. In conjunction with the renovation that HRI has planned for The Mirage, they intend to expand the number of slots that are now available at the hotel. In addition, the corporation disclosed its intentions to increase the number of table games offered, increase the number of hotel rooms, and provide more services.
