The new Resorts World Hudson Valley will create 250 new full-time employment with an average yearly income of $72,000, according to Robert DeSalvio, president of Genting Americas East. 

The operator of the casino also makes a yearly tax contribution of around $65 million, which goes toward supporting public schools in New York State. DeSalvio mentioned that the new facility intended to have a strong start over the Christmas season in order to attract tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of guests and tourists.

The amount of money that Genting invests in this region will not decrease.

The new casino is housed in a building that a Bon Ton department store formerly occupied. The building is 60,000 square feet in size. After undergoing extensive renovation, it is now home to 1200 cutting-edge slot machines, 82 electronic table games, and the Resorts World Bet Sports Bar.

 In addition, it has been given a fresh new look. Over a thousand people stood in line to be the first ones allowed inside the facility, indicating that it already enjoys a significant amount of popularity.
