According to Matt Morgan, the chair of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Commission (OIGA), a new bill on sports betting will be submitted, and its first reading will take place on February 6, 2023, on the opening day of the new legislative session in Oklahoma.

One of the tribes, the Muscogee Nation, thinks that the measure still needs to be more clear, according to Jason Salsman, the tribe’s spokesman.
