FanDuel Group and Major League Baseball (MLB) announced on Thursday that they had entered into a multi-year deal that will make the sportsbook a co-exclusive official sports betting partner of the league.

FanDuel will be granted permission to use official Major League Baseball branding and category designations across all of its products, including its Sportsbook, Daily Fantasy, and FanDuel Faceoff platforms, as well as in its marketing efforts, as a result of the terms of the agreement between the two parties.

Since 2019, FanDuel has been working with Major League Baseball in the capacity of an approved gambling operator for the league.

FanDuel will begin broadcasting MLB.TV’s Free Game of the Day begins this season on both the FanDuel sportsbook app and on FanDuel+, the over-the-top platform owned and operated by FanDuel.

According to a joint statement issued by both sides, one of the goals of this agreement is for the parties to collaborate on increasing advocacy for and knowledge of the significance of responsible gambling. The commitment is being made during the month of March, which is designated as Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
