The “Party Pit” was introduced as a new amenity at the Hard Rock’s Bristol casino as part of the expansion project. According to reports from the Bristol Herald Courier, the area features four blackjack tables, each of which has a minimum bet of $15. The area is located next to Bristol Bar and directly across from the Sportsbook.

According to a statement released by Hard Rock, “The Party Pit’s convenient location will provide guests with a fun and energetic vibe, surrounding them with live music and TVs featuring all of the latest sports action.”

The Party Pit will be open every Thursday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Other additions include two new blackjack tables in the high-limit space, a blackjack table and Mississippi Stud table in the non-smoking section, eight new Dragon Link machines in the high-limit area, and 20 new slot machines from Sega Sammy in the casino’s gaming floor.

Hard Rock Bristol Casino’s gaming floor

When it opened its doors in July 2022, the Bristol Casino was the first land-based casino property in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The temporary venue is expected to remain in operation until the permanent, 400 million-dollar Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol opens in the summer of 2024.

A performance venue with 3,200 seats and an outdoor entertainment venue with a capacity of 20,000 people will both be part of the permanent casino. The casino will be open around the clock, seven days a week, and is anticipated to generate approximately 1,200 to 1,500 jobs. In addition to that, it will have two hotel towers, a pool, and other amenities.

Bristol Casino Significant Milestones this Month

The Bristol Casino brought in nearly $14 million in adjusted gross revenue for the month of February, according to a report published earlier this month by the Virginia Lottery. Of that total, over $11 million was generated by slot machines, while table games brought in $2.5 million. In less than eight months after launching, it has earned more than $109 million in adjusted gross income and $2.5 million in tax receipts.

The Rivers Casino in Portsmouth, Virginia, was the second casino to open in the state of Virginia. Its revenue was significantly higher than that of the Hard Rock Casino, which is still located in a temporary location. The Rivers reported adjusted gross revenue of $24.7 million, including $7.5 million from table games. The Rivers has approximately three and a half times as many table games and 430 more slot machines than the other casino.
