The New Hampshire Lottery confirmed today that DraftKings has launched its second sportsbooks at Manchester’s South Side Tavern sports bar. It is the second sportsbook location in the state, which is located at 1279 South Willow St.

Top bar launches sportsbook

The South Side Tavern sports bar has been voted the top bar and restaurant in the state for three consecutive years, listed in the Best of NH Awards category. The new facility has several betting kiosks, seating for both large and small groups, and wall-to-wall TVs. It is a massive 40,000-square-foot property that is located right off Exit 1 on Interstate 293. It has been known as a longtime charitable gaming location that recently underwent a $2.5 million renovation project. It installed a new HVAC air filtration system.

The venue is taking numerous steps to help prevent the COVID-19 from spreading. All employees and guests will be mandated to wear masks. Employees keep disinfecting gaming machines several times a day to provide a clean and safe experience to the users.

DraftKings gains a new presence

DraftKings North America co-founder and president, Matt Kalish commented on the new sportsbook launch and said,

Charitable game operator Granite State Poker general manager Alex Anagnost said that they have been creating memorable experiences at the South Side Tavern and are thrilled to be working with DraftKings ad the New Hampshire Lottery. He noted that the sportsbook will help in strengthening their position as a destination for sports fans in the Manchester and surrounding regions.
