Scientific Games have successfully secured a license for the application of ReelPlay’s Infinity Reels mechanic. The deal has also extended the partnership between the two industry leaders.

Scientific Games announced this breakthrough deal in a press release on Tuesday.

Book of Ultimate Infinity

Innovative slot game Book of Ultimate Infinity will become the first game to apply Reel Play’s signature mechanic. The slot will incorporate the concept of multiple expanding reels with a progressive multiplier.

Scientific Games plans to launch the game across OpenGaming networks in the UK, Europe, and Canada, with New Jersey expected to follow suit.

David Johnson, CCO at ReelPlay, said the best has yet to come for the studio when it comes to creating games using the infinity reel mechanic. He believes the reinforced business relationship with Scientific Games would only unlock more possibilities for the company.

“With a number of Infinity Reels games in flight with multiple partners, we look forward to seeing how the Scientific Games studios further develop the brand and for what more we can achieve together through our collaboration,” Johnson added.

El Dorado Collaboration

Prior to the extension, Scientific Games had previously collaborated with the Sydney-based studio during the development of El Dorado Infinity Reels.

The game combined key features such as expanding multipliers, 888x jackpot and free spins. Many slot reviewers rated the game highly because of its intriguing gameplay, rewarding bonus features and first-class visuals.

Rob Procter, content director of digital at Scientific Games, mentioned the success of their previous partnership with ReelPlay as the catalyst for the new deal.

The executive added that he has no doubts the upcoming game will live up the standards set by El Dorado Infinity Reels.

“As the first product of our licensing deal, Book of Ultimate Infinity demonstrates the value of our partnership and is a testament to the level of innovation we strive for with our proprietary products,” Procter stressed.
