Play’n GO announced this week the launch of its new slot game titled Frozen Gems. The game serves a follow-up to Ice Joker video slot released only last week.

The video slot tells a straightforward story of a lost explorer on an artic mission as he searches for fortune in the form of frozen gems. The game wants the players to play the role of the explorer eager to strike gold at all cost.

New slot’s unique payways mechanics

Frozen Gem presents a five-reel, three-row dimension with 20 pay-line. Thanks to a unique payways mechanic, this video slot offers up to 8,748 ways of winning. This system enables players to split symbols on a special bonus reel, forming more winning combos.

Martin Zettergren, Chief Product Officer at Play’n Go, also revealed in the press release that the developers added an unlimited cascade multiplier. This type of multiplier usually leads to more winnings because more combos are formed each time symbols cascade.
