Aristocrat Leisure Ltd takes another step towards launching a new responsible gameplay technology into the domestic market after securing certification from market regulators in several Australian states.

Aristocrat, which is by far the biggest video slot machine maker in Australia, revealed its Annual General Meeting last Friday that it plans to introduce their responsible gaming tech by the end of march.

The Australian states and territories of New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT has given the green light on the launching of first wave of games that will incorporate “Flexiplay” technology.

Trevor Croker, the CEO of Aristocrat, provides more details about the upcoming responsible gameplay technology, which will open the door towards the improvement of their products.

“Flexiplay” allows players to voluntarily set time limits and quarantine winnings from being played down via the timer and piggy bank functions, he explained.

“We are preparing to place the first of these games in market in the first quarter of this year. Our customers have been very supportive of ‘Flexiplay’. We look forward to learning more from the release of ‘Flexiplay’ and to applying the lessons to further product-based RG innovations in future.”

The executive also revealed  that the second generation of responsible gameplay feature, which is based on Aristocrat’s original “Bluegum” EGM product, was trialed in 2019 before it gains approval from the said regulators.
