Virgin Hotel Las Vegas to begin entertaining guests on March 25

Virgin Hotel Las Vegas will start welcoming guests beginning on Thursday, March 25. The newest hotel and casino resort in the Las Vegas strip showcases a 60,000 square foot Mohegan Sun Casino under the operation of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.

Virgin Hotel Las Vegas

A part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, Virgin Hotel Las Vegas will start entertaining customers at 6:00 pm on Thursday.

The overhauled Hard Rock International property promises a night of culture, world-class gourmet cuisine, and non-stop entertainment for its guests. The hotel has also prepared several attractions to light up the event, including live entertainment with DJs, street presentations, and more.

The Hotel confirmed the date of its opening just last month after the management decided to delay it several times due to the adverse effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the conditions in the market at that time.

The group had previously intended to debut Virgin Hotel Las Vegas during the last quarter stages of 2020, before revising that target in September of last year to January 15, 2021.

Mohegan Sun Casino

Again, Virgin Hotel Las Vegas boasts a 60,000 square foot Mohegan Sun Casino by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. Starting on Thursday, players will gain access to a variety of offerings such as slots, table games, and more real money games on the casino floor. The property features 650 slots and over 150 table games, high-limit areas, and a race and sportsbook.

The opening of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will be different from traditional resort openings. It will entertain consumer first and then begin putting a significant number of people back to work in the city as it looks for a positive first sign that the situation in Las Vegas is returning to normalcy.

The Hotel management will still proceed with a traditional grand opening celebration tentatively late spring based on projected increased gatherings, and potential lifting of entertainment restrictions.

Richard Bosworth, president & CEO of JC Hospitality and owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, commented on the upcoming launch of Virgin Hotel Las Vegas.

“The opening of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is just one more positive sign of the recovery of the Las Vegas economy,”

“We’re excited to have our team members back to work as we prepare to welcome locals and tourists alike at our completely redesigned resort.”
