Fantasma Games increases presence in global market via SG deal

Fantasma Games has forged a partnership with Scientific Games, allowing the studio’s portfolio of real money titles to establish a presence in core markets.

Fantasma Games on Open Gaming platform

Fantasma considers its latest venture with Scientific Games as a ‘milestone agreement’ since it considerably expands its market reach via SG’s OpenGaming platform.

The OpenGaming platform hosts more than 2,500 games from its impressive network of in-house and third-party game studios. The aggregation technology also offers an excellent player account management platform and more gamification features across jackpots, free-rounds, tournaments, and peer-to-peer gaming.

The multi-vertical product provider boasts a vast network of operators across the United States, Canada, Europe and South America. Fantasma understands the importance of aligning with an established platform provider in Scientific Games to global expansion program.

Fantasma will commence developing the first game set to go live on SG’s OpenGaming platform during autumn of 2021. The studio intends to release this and more future slot titles on the OpenGaming ecosystem for a minimum period of 18 months and a maximum of up to four years if both parties agree to extend the current deal.

The developer wants to be known for creating unique and immersive video slots that incorporate unique payout engines. True to its core values, the slot-maker released Elemento, an online slot built around the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water, early this year.

Key People on the Deal

Fredrik Johansson, commercial director of Fantasma Games, commented on the strategic agreement with Scientific Games in a press release issued last Monday.

“We are both happy and proud of the fact that as a relatively young company, we are now able to offer our games in North America and other key regulated markets around the world.”

“We want to reach as wide an audience as possible, and this agreement and Scientific Games’ global operations give us that opportunity. We are working hard on a number of new game titles and look forward to presenting more of them through this partnership in the future.”

Steve Mayes, partnership director at Scientific Games Digital, shared the company’s expectations from Fantasma Games.

“Our vision is to continue to drive the world’s most powerful aggregation platform with leading customers and game developers across every major regulated market, partnering on the development of cutting-edge content that players enjoy and can play responsibly with the necessary responsible gambling tools that come with our offering.

“Fantasma Games is a young, hungry studio, and their ethos and vision make them a perfect new addition to the OpenGaming portfolio. We are very excited about this partnership and look forward to releasing the type of games we know our players love.”
