BGaming partners with WBC for development of boxing-themed slots

BGaming will soon release several boxing-themed video slot titles after securing an agreement with the World Boxing Council (WBC) – arguably the most prestigious sanctioning body in boxing.

BGaming-WBC Deal

BGaming looks to take the entertainment value of its products to new heights by aligning with WBC.

The agreement has given the supplier the right to use the logo and assets of the pro-boxing sanctioning organization in the development of its future titles.

BGaming also revealed in Monday’s press release that ‘WBC Ring of Riches,’ the first slot game developed in collaboration with WBC, would go live on partner operators at the end of May.

‘WBC Ring of Riches’ aims to provide players with a thrill of boxing matches and the raw enjoyment they get from a high-stake slot game.

The upcoming title will revolve around the mysterious fighter, taking players to a virtual boxing ring where they’ll have to overcome several challenges on their way to winning the prestigious WBC belts.

The content provider hopes its upcoming sports-focused slot titles will serve as a platform for professional athletes and slots fans to come together and interact with one another.

What Executive Says?

Marina Ostrovtsova, director of BGaming, commented:

“BGaming is honored to be partnering with WBC, the major name in professional boxing. If we take a look back in history, the greatest fights are always accompanied by the casinos’ atmosphere.

“This is classic. And now, with everyone going digital, this is the perfect time to come up with a new classic. We have been in the industry quite a while now and this is fascinating, yet challenging to introduce sports into a slot game.”

Mauricio Sulaimán, WBC president, said:

“Boxing and iGaming have much more in common than it seems, I feel very happy with this outstanding alliance. Being part of a huge entertainment industry is motivating as we are united with passion and excitement.”

“Now it’s time to give everybody a chance to feel like a WBC champion! We’re very delighted to take part in the process of creating a game that, no doubt, will be appreciated by many boxing lovers.”
