Play’n Go has cemented its marketplace position in Greece as the slot supplier acknowledged the receipt of a new license, enabling the company to sustain the supply of its video slot portfolio to operators in the territory.

The new license will allow Play’n Go to maintain its strong market presence in the Greek market. This allows the supplier to continue offer players residing in Greece with its impressive collection of slot titles, as well as paving the way for the Greek market debut of more future titles from the renowned content supplier.

Best slot titles such as Green Knight, Rich Wilde & The Amulet of the Dead are just some of many Play’n Go titlesthat will remain available for online casino players within the jurisdiction. Hammerfall, the most recent music release from the supplier, is poised to perform well in the market.

The Hellenic Gaming Commission has begun requiring suppliers and operators new licenses after implementing several changes to gaming regulation within the said regulated market.

Some of the new guidelines now being imposed in the Greek regulated market include online slot games carrying a €2 maximum bet per spin, a minimum three-second average spin time, and a maximum game win of €70,000 per round.

Play’n Go lauded the Croatian gaming regulator for providing clarity in its new set of policies. The supplier added they would make sure that their partner operators in Greece would strictly comply with the new guidelines, most especially the responsible gaming regulations.

Magnus Olsson, head of sales and account management for Play’n GO, said:

“Regulatory changes are a constant in the global gaming industry, and we welcome the new clarity provided by the Hellenic Gaming Commission in their latest framework. We will now work closely with our partners to ensure that their Greek operations are compliant with the new regulations.”

“We take immense pride in our games. But we also love to bring more to the table too,” Olsson explained further. “The rigour in our approach to both compliance and game development ensures that our partners can rely on us to deliver entertaining content that is ready for all of their players to enjoy from the first day of global release, across multiple markets.

“But to truly enjoy a gaming experience, players must feel safe. And that’s why we’re only too happy to tailor our titles to ensure they comply with all local rules in regulated markets all over the world.”
