Realistic Games enters Romanian market after securing RNGO license

Realistic Games expects to solidify its marketplace position in Europe after the online casino games developer secured a supplier license from the Romanian National Gambling Office.

The supplier license enables the provider to launch its vast portfolio of real-money games consists primarily of slots and table games in the jurisdiction. 

The Berkshire-based developer had already entered talks with Romania-facing operators before obtaining the license issued by the country’s gaming regulator.

Realistic Games hopes to build a strong following by offering some of the most prominent slot titles in the industry, including games from the Game Changer series and the Electrocoin remakes. 

Notable releases such as Super Graphics Upside Down and 8th Wonder will also be making their Romanian market debuts. 

The developer will be introducing several instant-win titles, bringing another layer of excitement to their partner operator’s existing content portfolio.

Realistic Games’ entry into the Romanian iGaming space marks another milestone for a company with an ambitious expansion plan in Europe. Before Romania, the developer penetrated critical growth markets such as the United Kingdom, Sweden, Latvia, Estonia, and Croatia.

The studio has also launched a revamp of a classic title “6 Appeal Extreme.” The new and improved slot game is a 5×3, 20-pay line video slot, which offers a bigger maximum payout, higher RTP, and a buy-in feature for a more immersive gaming experience.

Robert Lee, commercial director at Realistic Games, said securing the supplier license represents a milestone as the game developer looks to capitalize on another promising iGaming market. The executive also disclosed plans to announce their partnerships with online casino brands, which will offer their games within the territories.

“Romania is a thriving region and one of the most active in Southern Europe. We’ll be announcing a string of operator partnerships in due course as we make our mark in the country,” Lee added in the press release.
