888 Holdings announced on Thursday, September 23, its partnership with Nuvei Corporation, equipping its newly-launched SI Sportsbook with the latter’s Instant Bank Transfer payment solution.

SI Sportsbook to level Nuvei’s payment solution technology

888 Holdings pulled off a major business move by launching the SI Sportsbook, a joint venture with Authentic Brands Group – the owner of Sports Illustrated.

SI Sportsbook aims to become an ideal sport betting app for casual and die-hard sports fans by leveraging the sports news, analysis, and betting information of Sports Illustrated.

To make customers’ transactions safer and faster, the Gibraltar-based operator taps Nuvei to accept consumer deposits on the SI Sportsbook platform and deliver real-time bank account funding via Bank Transfer Payment Solution.

Nuvei’s platform integration with Plaid allows SI Sportsbook consumers to secure access to approximately 11,000 financial institutions in the United States.

The solution provider is known for its state-of-the-art consumer transaction tracking system, assuring that fund deposits and withdrawals undergo sophisticated risk management checks. Moreover, Plaid provides additional authentication through its user-initiated bank account verification.

As for regular bettors, Nuvei’s proprietary platform makes transactions a lot faster for them with its conversion-boosting features, including one-click deposits for returning players.

After providing American sports fans with news and analysis across different media platforms for many years, Sports Illustrated ventured into the world of online sports betting and igaming for the first time.
