Scientific Games adds White Hat Studios to list of partner studios

Scientific Games strengthens its portfolio of partners studios after the gaming giant signed White Hat Studios to a four-year, content aggregation deal. SG confirmed the arrangement on Wednesday, October 6.

Scientific Games welcomes White Hat Studios

White Hat Studios joins Design Works Gaming and Hacksaw Gaming in the list of game development outfits aligning with the Las Vegas-based gambling product and service provider.

As the igaming creation division of White Hat Gaming, the studio produces real-money slots designed to attract American players.

Scientific Games believes bringing White Hat Studio onboard enriches the quality of content available on the OpenGaming platform.

SG will be distributing the studios’ iGaming products across several US territories, including Michigan, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia via OpenGaming platform starting in 2022. The aggregator also revealed its intention to launch these games in additional states in the future.

White Hat Studios has expanded the reach of its iGaming content portfolio, which includes popular releases such as Ted, Almighty Buffalo Megaways, and Eye of the Dead.

The studio also agreed to supply SG’s partner operators with several land-based inspired content from Merkur Gaming, Reel Time Gaming, and Lucksome. Moreover, the agreement will also see the developer’s progressive jackpot, Jackpot Royale, get integrated into the platform.

Quotes from the Press Release

Andy Whitworth, chief commercial officer at White Hat Gaming, spoke of the significance of its partnership with Scientific Games.

“When we originally came up with the idea of forming White Hat Studios specifically to cater for the booming US market, we knew that selecting the right aggregation platform would be vital to our chances of making an immediate impact.”

“We firmly believe that we could not have chosen better than OpenGaming, given its unrivaled distribution network and scalability, which are both of paramount importance as the US market continues to grow. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with Scientific Games and OpenGaming.”

Steve Mayes, partnership director at Scientific Games, added: “As soon as we heard about the launch of White Hat Studios, we knew there was a huge opportunity for us to combine forces.”

“This is a landmark deal for both parties and will provide our US operators with access to a fantastic suite of slots, table games, and jackpots. It’s a perfect synergy of content, scale, and innovation.”
