About the Deal

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Nov. 9, the Swedish-based online casino operator detailed the expansion of its existing partnership with Internet Vikings.

Playstar has already set a couple of dates for the launch of its operations in the United States.

New Jersey will become the first state to take Playstar’s gaming platform live in the first quarter of 2022. The brand will follow it up with its debut in Pennsylvania in the second quarter of that year.

Corporate Insights

Adam Noble, chief business development officer of Playstar, said the company understands the obstacles gaming operators have to navigate to establish a presence in a particular jurisdiction. Still, the executive highlighted the advantages of aligning with a trusted partner as they venture into the second biggest iGaming market in the US.

Rickard Vikström, the founder of Internet Vikings, also shared the same sentiment as his counterpart, stressing that the new deal only deepens its link with its client.
