Skyrocket Entertainment to launch American Gods slots in Q4 of 2021

Skyrocket Entertainment will soon release a series of branded social and real-money slots inspired by the fantasy drama TV series American Gods.

The enterprising game development firm announced on Wednesday, Nov. 10, that it has secured an international right to the popular Amazon Prime Video’s fantasy drama TV series.

Skyrocket Entertain – American Gods licensing deal

What’s the agreement?

Skyrocket, the brainchild of UK film producer Sean O’ Kelly and gaming expert Richard Clarke, intends to “transform” the American Gods brand into fresh gaming content and products that can resonate with fans of the TV series and gaming enthusiasts.

The game developer plans to launch this content on a global scale in Q4 of 2021 via Skyrocket Studios division.

More about American Gods

The TV series is based on Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel of the same name, whose story revolves around the ongoing battle for supremacy between old and new gods. Showrunner Bryan Fuller and Michael Green originally created the series for cable network Starz before Amazon Prime swooped in to add the said show to its online programming.

Skyrocket has contracted Bang Bang Games to help them create the American Gods series’ best online casino game rendition. A sneak peek of the actual games shows the usual features that players can get from a branded slot title. It has expanded reels, four-game bonuses, and a lucrative max jackpot, to name a few.

Corporate Insights

Skyrocket Entertainment looks to set the gaming world ablaze by releasing at least 20 branded slot games per year. The company currently owns international rights to 75 feature films, including blockbuster hits like Rambo, The Expendables, and The Fallen franchise.

Skyrocket Entertainment introduced itself in the gaming world at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, aiming to turn Hollywood feature films and branded intellectual property rights into different social and real-money gaming content.
