KSA drops ax on Dordtse Queens

“Dordtse Queens” promoted the activity via social media, with each of its eight administrators advertising the games on their personal Facebook profiles.

The KSA dubbed the ad-hoc network “a spider web of unlawful bingos” due to its interconnected nature.

In an even more alarming development, the regulator revealed that minors were permitted to join as well.

However, the KSA quickly put an end to this behavior by reporting it to Facebook, which erased six pages affiliated with Dordtse Queens in some form.

“For some time now, the KSA has been notifying Facebook when the network is used in an unauthorized manner,” the Dutch regulator noted. “It is illegal in the Netherlands to offer a game of chance without a license.”

It continued by reiterating its position on any party seeking to offer games of chance without a license and issuing a warning, stating: “The KSA monitors to ensure that participants in games of chance do so safely and that involvement in illicit games of chance is prevented.” Organizers of unauthorized lotteries and bingos face hefty penalties.
