GAN Limited enhances content for TwinSpires online portal via Ainsworth deal

GAN Limited, a provider of real-money online casino and sports betting technologies, revealed earlier this week that it had reached an agreement to bring content from Australian inventor Ainsworth Game Technology Limited to the TwinSpires platform.

GAN Limited teams up with Ainsworth

In an official Wednesday news release, the Californian company announced that the integration would occur via its SuperRGS platform, allowing punters in the American state of Michigan to access ‘over 70 distinct games with more on the way’.

Since the Supreme Court determined that states other than Nevada can allow sports betting, the industry has expanded in the United States. Now, around 30 conditions permit such wagering, resulting in a boom in casino sector mergers and stock valuations—DraftKings Inc., the industry leader, with a market capitalization of more than $12 billion.

GAN Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Dermot Smurfit, stated that this move followed the May signing of a deal that granted his business exclusive distribution rights for all present and future online games from Sydney-based Ainsworth Game Technology Limited.

TwinSpires ushers in Ainsworth’s proven online games

Additionally, the CEO stated that the agreement with TwinSpires’marks the alliance’s first deployment’ and would enable the platform to include a ‘leading portfolio’ of the developer’s ‘proven online games.’

“This is a watershed moment for Super RGS, as we expect the majority of iGaming businesses in the United States will quickly become clients of our Super RGS. Super RGS will enable us to enhance our take rate on gross operator revenues significantly and expand our client base.”
