Greenplay is acquired by Vita Media Group from Codere

Vita Media Group, a Danish iGaming company, announced Thursday the acquisition of Greenplay, a casino brand that was formerly owned and managed by Codere Online Management Services, a Spanish-based international gaming operator.

Greenplay now representing Codere

Greenplay Casino is Vita Media Group’s seventh online casino brand and will operate under the company’s affiliate subsidiary, OMG Affiliates. According to the two parties, all affiliates working under the Greenplay casino’s Codere Online Management Services deal would be migrated to the OMG Affiliates platform. Once the migration is complete, the new account management system will be introduced to all affiliates.

Vita Media Group’s acquisition of the Greenplay casino brand is the third investment in its affiliate division, OMG Affiliates, in 2021. Vita Media Group previously bought the Trada Affiliates and Affilisearch brands from the United Kingdom, as well as Affilisearch, a European Gambling Affiliate Network from Denmark.

Vita Media Group stated in a statement that the purchase strengthens its market position in both Europe and Latin America.

“This December acquisition is a significant step forward in the company’s overall growth,” Vita Media Group said.

“The acquisition of the Greenplay casino brand represents a significant extension of Vita Media Group’s iGaming ecosystem,” Vita Media Group CEO Jimmi Meilstrup said in a statement. “We are redefining our presence in existing markets while also exploring new market opportunities. This strategic investment enables us to be more innovative and provide a significantly higher level of quality on the market in 2022.”
