Stake, the cryptocurrency casino and sports betting platform, has secured shirt sleeve sponsorship for Swindon Town’s Emirates FA Cup third round match this week against Manchester City.

Swindon Town to represent Stake in clash vs. Man City

The company’s emblem will appear on the match kits of the EFL League Two side when they host Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Friday 7 January, in a game that will be shown live on ITV1.

“We are happy to welcome Stake.com as our official sleeve partner for our exciting Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against Manchester City,” said Danny Lee, head of commercial at Swindon Town FC.

The arrangement with Swindon Town FC expands Stake’s football sponsorship portfolio, which already includes a club-record jersey sponsorship deal with Watford FC for the 2021/22 season. Additionally, the operator has created a website in the United Kingdom.

Swindon Town are presently sixth in League Two, having won ten games, drawn seven, and lost five. With 37 points, the team is two points behind third-placed Southampton United in the race for automatic qualification. On the other hand, Manchester City currently hold a commanding ten-point lead at the top of the Premier League standings, having won their eleventh consecutive match on new year’s day, a 2-1 triumph over Arsenal.
