Everi acquires Atlas Gaming’s development tech assets

Everi is hoping to expand its development capabilities and carve out additional global penetration potential following the announcement of an agreement to purchase certain strategic assets of Atlas Gaming and Atlas Gaming Technologies.

Everi – Atlas Gaming Deal

Everi expects to acquire the Australia-based producer and distributor’s game development technology and intellectual property of unique gaming content and products within the next 60 days.

According to the firm, the newly acquired assets will complement its existing game production studios and portfolio of real-money slot titles while also paving the road for potential international expansion. Atlas development and engineering team members will join Everi in conjunction with the acquisition, funded by current funds on hand.

Dean Ehrlich, Everi’s senior vice president and head of the games business, stated, “We are thrilled to welcome members of the Atlas team to Everi.

“We’re looking forward to Atlas’ game developers and engineers bringing a worldwide perspective to help us execute a more robust product roadmap and advance our growth goal of delivering best-in-class content.

“This deal boosts Everi’s development capabilities and enables us to further differentiate and expand our gaming offerings in the future.

“We expect to leverage the Atlas development team and acquired assets to provide additional original content to our current customer base, while also creating an opportunity to expand into previously served markets, such as Australia.”
