Rootz begins operations in Germany following ISO 27001 certification

After passing an international Organization for Standardization audit, the online casino Rootz has been awarded an ISO 27001 certification.

The ISO is described as a “significant milestone” in its journey toward securing a full igaming license that would allow Rootz to offer its services to German players.

Rootz now live in Germany

ISO 27001, in particular, establishes guidelines for an information security management system through the use of a risk-based approach to information security. It is a prerequisite for all potential online gambling operators to access the German market.

It follows months of alleged toil behind the scenes at Rootz HQ, where employees allegedly “worked long hours to achieve all regulatory requirements within an unusually condensed time limit.” Additional audit requests are expected to be filed in the coming months to expand into different white-listed igaming markets as the company strives to consolidate its position as a global player.

Furthermore, Spinz Casino is slated to start in Q1 2022, focusing on live streaming content that promises to “reimagine a tried and true industry model.

Quotes from the Press Release

Rootz CEO Lasse Rantala commented, “I am thrilled with the devotion and hard effort displayed by Rootz workers in the face of such difficult conditions, which was evident throughout the certification process.”

“The audit certification creates the groundwork for us to expand into more jurisdictions, and as a result, we are well-positioned to continue our international expansion.” We all eagerly await the next exciting episode in the Rootz saga.

“Information security is critical in today’s increasingly digital world, and we applaud the progress toward a fully regulated global igaming ecosystem.”
