Colo Colo secures a one-year sponsorship deal with Betsson

Betsson has achieved what the online casino and sports betting business describes as “another significant milestone” in its South American expansion goals by signing a one-year sponsorship deal with Chile’s Colo Colo.

Details on Colo Colo – Betsson Deal

Along with becoming an official sponsor of the club, the arrangement will run until the 2022 season with the option of renewal, and will see the group’s emblem included on the sleeve of the team’s uniform.

In addition, the partnership is lauded as another milestone in Betsson’s international brand strategy of working with reputable local and international sports tournaments. This is Betsson’s latest sporting engagement in the LatAm region, having previously served as the official regional sponsor of CONMEBOL Copa América 2021 and as the naming sponsor of Peru’s Liga 1 and Chile’s Campeonato de Ascenso.

“We are quite thrilled with this partnership,” Colo Colo president Edmundo Valladares stated. Colo Colo has reestablished itself as a symbol of greatness and virtue, garnering such economic deals. This assists us in establishing ourselves as a very valued institution, both on a sporting level and, more importantly, on the global stage, which we, as national football leaders, must have.”

“As part of our expansion strategy in the region, we are also collaborating with local football clubs that we can assist and build,” said Andrea Rossi, commercial director for South America at Betsson.

“In addition to enhancing our brand awareness in the region, it benefits the clubs by allowing them to invest more in their players, staff, and facilities, thereby making the sport we all love – football – even more thrilling.”

“We are extremely proud to welcome one of the world’s largest gaming providers, Betsson, to our family of sponsors,” stated Samuel Pérez, Colo Colo’s commercial manager. We view this deal as a watershed moment and the start of a new era for the club. Associating with a corporation with more than 55 years of worldwide expertise will surely help us strengthen Colo Colo’s regional and global presence.”
