Wynn partners with Marjan to develop an integrated resort in the UAE

Wynn Resorts and Marjan have unveiled a plan to create a multibillion-dollar integrated resort on the artificial Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Wynn Resorts – Marjan Collab

The planned real-money casino and resort, which will be developed “with significant foreign direct investment by Wynn,” will include a hotel with over 1,000 rooms, a shopping center, a meeting, and convention center, an exclusive spa, more than ten restaurants, lounges, entertainment options, and a gaming area, among other amenities.

The IR, which is expected to be completed by 2026, is being hailed as “the largest project of its kind in the Emirate’s burgeoning hospitality sector.” It intends to add value to the local economy by accelerating tourism, creating jobs, and energizing the growth of adjacent businesses.

Al Marjan, which consists of four islands and extends into the Arabian Gulf on 2.7 million square meters of reclaimed land, is poised to house a facility measuring 250,000 square meters. Wynn Resorts’ first beach resort will be 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

The resort is in the early phases of design and development and will apply to the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority for an integrated resort license.
