Continent 8 Technologies was named an Amazon Web Services Advanced Consulting Partner less than a year after being approved as an AWS Select Partner.

The status upgrade, which included the expansion of the firm’s capabilities, is believed to bolster the company’s position as a cloud and connection provider to the online casino and sports betting sector as it moves up a tier of AWS partners.

It furthers our goal of being the worldwide online gambling industry’s multi-cloud provider. Continent 8 stated that it earned the award by broadening the breadth and scope of its capabilities across the organization through extra training and certification for its existing technical team and employing seasoned AWS specialists.

In addition, the company has been aiding customers with AWS projects and installations, notably in North America, to obtain the favorable customer feedback required by AWS, which includes FanDuel. Another critical aspect in Continent 8 gaining advanced tier status was providing value-added solutions and services to customers during their AWS deployments.

In the future, the company stated that it would continue to grow its AWS offering by developing additional capabilities within its existing teams and functions. Full-year 2021 operational loss was $689 million, compared to $1.39 billion in 2020, with its casino segment increasing 29.4 per cent year over year to $2.89 billion (2020: $2.04 billion). LVS incurred a net loss of $961 million, compared to a loss of $1.69 billion.
