Betsson Milestone’ debut beckons her to Buenos Aires

Betsson has lavished praise on “yet another milestone” in Latin America, which it claims further solidifies its regional footprint following its launch in the city and province of Buenos Aires.

This comes after the online casino business was awarded a license to grow its presence in the area alongside land-based operator Casino de Victoria, both of which are owned by Grupo Mautone.

Betsson deepens LatAm root

The company asserts that its ambition is to become “a market leader in the fast increasing internet market,” which it notes is a strategically critical region for accomplishing its aspirations in the country. Betsson.com.ar (city) and Betsson. bet.ar (provincial) are now active and offer online sports betting, including pre-and live-match wagering, as well as slots, table games, and horse racing.

Betsson began operations in the province of Buenos Aires on January 6, 2022, following the receipt of a license from the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC). However, operations began in the city on January 17, 2022, following the issuance of a license by the City Lottery (LOTBA).

Executive Insight

The province of Buenos Aires’ license, in conjunction with the city of Buenos Aires license, further solidifies our position in the region. LatAm is a strategically critical region in which we perform well and have high expectations for Argentina’s future. The launch in Argentina marks yet another milestone in Latin America and further enhances Betsson’s market position in the area,” Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall commented.Stakelogic and Jelly
