Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing

The casino and entertainment operator commemorated the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by a number of the group’s executives, as ll as Greg Small, Executive Director of the Indiana Gaming Commission, and Shelbyville Mayor Tom DeBaun.

Horseshoe Indianapolis, formerly known as Indiana Grand, began an upgrading and expansion project in April 2021 with the goal of adding about 25,000 square feet of gaming space, including a live World Series of Poker room with twenty tables. 

Steve Jarmuz, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Horseshoe Indianapolis, said the ability to connect the brand’s property and services to the Horseshoe brand will enhance our customers’ gaming, racing, eating, and entertainment experiences. With the addition of the World Series of Poker Room to their Caesars Race and Sportsbook, its customers now have access to a unique selection of gaming options all on one level.

Following a refurbishment, the venue now features a 20-seat video poker bar with 65-inch LCD overhead displays, new table games, slots, and gaming chairs, updated design elements throughout, surface parking, and the Brew Brothers cuisine. Additionally, the organization reports that it has added over 100 additional jobs to its personnel. Horseshoe Indianapolis is the third Caesars Entertainment facility to rebrand, following Bally’s Las Vegas and Horseshoe Saint Louis, previously Lumière Place Casino & Hotel. According to Dan Nita, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, the Horseshoe brand was created on a commitment to doing what is right for the gambler, focusing on service, and being devoted to visitors. They are looking forward to enjoying this next chapter with Horseshoe in Central Indiana.

The Amenities and Attraction 

Horseshoe Indianapolis has added and expanded its amenities, including a 5,000-square-foot World Series of Poker Room with 20 tables and a 20-seat video poker bar with 65-inch LCD overhead displays. With the addition of new table games, video slot machines, and gaming chairs, New design features have been implemented throughout the gaming floor. Additional surface parking, Brew Brothers is a new restaurant located near Caesars Sportsbook (construction to begin Feb. 2022). Over 100 new jobs and millions in local and state casino tax income.
