Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), an award-winning iGaming platform and sportsbook solutions provider, announced a pivotal agreement with American gaming brand Crab Sports for the latter’s operations in Maryland sports betting sector.

GiG to power Crab Sports sports betting app in Maryland
Under the terms of the agreement, GiG will supply Crab Sports in Maryland with its revolutionary platform and sportsbook solution.
A few months after sports betting was legalized in Maryland in mid-May of 2017, the market opened in December. The state allows commercial casinos, racetracks, and sports stadiums to provide the activity, although it is now restricted to retail stores alone.
Regardless, the popularity of sports betting continues to rise, and the sector in the United States is projected to produce over $217 million in its first year. Richard Brown, the CEO of GiG, said that it is a pleasure to join forces with Crab Sports.
He said that GiG recognizes the market’s potential in Maryland and the huge potential of Crab Sports’ committed crew. Brown noted that the organization is excited to work with Crab Sports. He projected that the cooperation would be advantageous for both parties.
GiG anticipates constructive contributions.
After GiG’s merger with Sportnco, the newest agreement represents a new key milestone. GiG announced its intent to purchase the top platform supplier of turnkey betting and gaming solutions in December of last year. In April of this year, the business completed the Sportnco purchase. Brown noted that the partnership with Crab Sports was a ”proud moment for us and demonstrates our confidence in the synergies between GiG and Sportnco.” Overall, Crab Sports’s executive staff has more than two decades of expertise in online gaming. Now, with the new partnership, the organization will use GiG’s creative solutions. GiG anticipates that the whole deal with Crab Sports will be inked in the following months. The business expects meaningful benefits from the cooperation beginning in the fourth quarter of 2022.
