First Official Sports Betting Operator Beyond North America

The online gambling group headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, will be the exclusive provider of odds on The PGA TOUR’s leaderboards and player pages, as well as on the TOUR’s platform, TOURCast, which provides golf fans with a 3D rendering of the golf course of every shot from each group across the UK, Ireland, and Australia. 

The bet365 company is thrilled to partner with one of the most recognizable sports brands in the world. Throughout this relationship with PGA TOUR, bet365 will seek to continue providing our golf customers with a market-leading in-play experience across our worldwide sites and the PGA TOUR platforms. As an Official Betting Operator of The PGA TOUR, bet365 will receive the rights to use the series’ official marks and emblems in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and Canada, in addition to advertising on TOUR media and partner platforms. In addition, bet365 will have a brand presence across all PGA TOUR media platforms, including PGA TOUR.com, a worldwide market inventory maintained by Warner Bros. Discovery in conjunction with the TOUR. Additionally, the bookmaker will be available on additional WBD sites, including Golfdigest.com in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and Canada.

In-Play Betting Pioneer

The PGA TOUR’s vice president of gaming said the partnership with bet365 would “expand the TOUR’s sports betting initiatives outside of North America.” He noted that the bookmaker was the first to offer the TOUR’s official in-play betting product to its customers and that “being on the forefront of in-play sports betting in golf” will help it achieve “tremendous growth.” The UK-based bookmaker was the first to integrate IMG ARENA Golf Event Centre, a sports betting service that delivers in-play interactive betting in golf to legal markets worldwide. The Golf Event Centre provided rapid, detailed shot-by-shot statistics, live streaming, and interactive course visualizations.

Bet365 joins DraftKings, theScore Bet, and others as Official Betting Operators of the TOUR. In July 2020, the parties extended their cooperation to declare the Boston-based gaming business the first Official Betting Operator of The PGA TOUR. theScore Bet is the PGA TOUR’s official betting operator in the US and Canada.
